Joe is a first-generation American who worked his way from entry-level labor jobs to a 16-year career as a financial advisor managing $95 million of client assets. Despite the financial success, an emptiness lingered that he could no longer ignore. Determined to live a more purposeful life, he burned the boats and walked away.
That single decision sparked a four-year crucible of unexpected life challenges — divorce, losing his home, starting a business in a recession, and rebuilding his social life from scratch. Through all of it, he honored every one of his commitments as a single father of three young children. And to prove to himself what he was capable of, he completed a 54-mile ultramarathon, with zero running experience, and only ten weeks of prep.
That race was the birth of Zero to 54 and a discovery of what gratitude could actually do. Not just for him, but for anyone living a life out of alignment.
"It wasn't about the miles. It was about taking on challenges, doing what you said you were going to do, and moving forward with gratitude."
His book and 100-day guided practice are the tools he created in the depths of hardship. Alignment and earned peace are the outcome.
